In May...
we took a vacation to the East Coast! We went to NY, NH, and CT. Our time in NY we went to Word of Life (WOL) for four days to attend the Founder's Week celebration and have some time as a family.

Canyon was an ALL STAR 17 month traveler! God answered prayer for him as we spend alot of time in the car! He was healthy, and was a joy! Aside from a scrape on the nose from taking a tumble off the bed at the WOL Inn, and a few diaper disasters, it was a very uneventful trip!
We went to NH to visit Lornel's Mom and her husband Rob, then on to CT to visit Lornel's Brother and familly, Dad, and special friends in Eastford.

Being back at Word of Life was a delight to REMEMBER where we were taught God's Word, where we met, and first choose love for one another.
In June...we took a weekend camping trip in Warrenville. It was close to home, but it really felt like we got away... sort of! The first night God gave us rain, and that lasted through about noon the next day. We went back home hoping and praying that the rain would pass. By that afternoon the sun came out and there was time for fishing, and for our Friends the Walkers to join us! The whole weekend turned out to be a sweet time with family and friends. Canyon especially loved being outside. He loved playing in the dirt, and with rocks, and with his friends Elijah and Sammy.

As we wait on God to show us his direction for us may we be found faithful in living for Jesus. Lately God has been really teaching me (Lornel) much about faith and believing God to do his work in and through me. I am encouraged at His faithfulness!
Praise God for
- Baby Curey is doing really well! Lornel is healthy too!
- Safety on the roads
- For special times as a family
Pray for
- God's guidance
- a safe and healthy delivery of our little one (Due August 29)
- that we would exercise faith in God in serving Him
